Michael has been self employed since 1975 (43 Years). He has owned several companies throughout his 43-year career (Exxon, Texaco stations, C-store markets, Avis Rent A-Car, James-Reed Professional Racing Team, James Gang Real Estate, and James Multifamily Group). He has always been self-motivated to create companies that help his employees and clients. He currently owns James Management Group, LLC and JMG Capital Investments, LLC in Carmel, Indiana. His passion is to invest, purchase, and reposition multifamily apartments in Indiana, and the Midwest. He has built a great track record, with over 4000 units purchased, repositioned, or sold over the past 17 years. He oversees 100+ employees, vendors, and third-party construction personnel that are the heart of the company’s ongoing success! His hard work, dedication, and transparency are why past investors say they continue to invest with JMG Capital Investments.

Jerry Goodreau has secured impressive accomplishments throughout his career of 20+ years in the technology industry as a Sales Engineer and Consultant. After assisting several Fortune 1000 companies by improving revenue and expertly strategizing sales, he joined the James Management Group Capital Investments as Investor Relation/Marketing VP. 

Jerry’s knowledge of company investment allows him to communicate with the investing community and encourage his colleagues to develop an understanding for directing investments with diverse groups. He exhibits a results-oriented focus with every task or sale he begins, along with displaying innovative problem-solving solutions.

Cristi Elgin brings exceptional leadership and customer service to the James Management Group; she has been demonstrating her extensive experience in communicating with diverse clients at the company since 2010. Cristi obtained a degree in business administration at Indiana Business College and developed a passion for conducting sales and ensuring high-quality service in the apartment industry. After over 10 years in this field, Cristi managed properties with over 1,000 units and received her CAM designation in 2013.

She continues to manage her property while serving as Controller and Payroll Administrator for James Management Group. She oversees all payroll and benefits, financial reporting, compliance for the multi-family portfolio, and internal accounting.

Tiffany Brewer has over 8 years of the multi-family industry experience, and she has recently been declared Area Manager/Marketing Director of the James Management Group, LLC, after joining the company in July 2014, as an Assistant Manager for a 604-unit property. Within only a few months, her leasing, management, and marketing skills significantly advanced and she was promoted to a Property Manager of our Plainfield 60-unit property.  As a Property Manager she reached 100% occupied repetitively and continues to expand her marketing skills, not only for her community but throughout the James Management Portfolio.  

In June 2016, the James Management Group amplified her position to managing an additional 120-unit property. In less than a year, Tiffany took on the responsibility of yet another property: a 78-unit west side property. She successfully maintains high occupancy at all 3 communities and continues to provide support and creative avenues to enhance company marketing.

As Area Manager/Marketing Director of James Management Group, Tiffany provides support with her enthusiasm, creativity and professionalism, and is a great asset to the team.

Tiffany studied Business at Indiana Wesleyan University and holds her CAM designation. In 2017, she received her Indiana’s Broker License.

Victor Cole has been with the James Management Group since it was founded, serving as Regional Maintenance Supervisor. He soon took on the task of the Regional Maintenance Director, making weekly visits to each property, training maintenance staff, and coordinating all capital projects, including assessing needs of communities, acquiring and negotiating bids, and coordinating with local authorities. Victor has been in the maintenance field since 1979 and has worked at one of the currently managed properties since 1985.

Victor’s results-oriented and efficient work ethic encourages him to work alongside the maintenance staff in any project to ensure its completion. He prides himself in staying up-to-date with his training and learning in the industry. His positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile is contributed to key reasons he was awarded IAA’s 2008 Maintenance Supervisor of the Year.

Karen Birsfield joined the James Management Group, LLC in October of 2010 as the Marketing Director.  With 27 years of managing multi-family properties, Karen was promoted to the Regional Manager in 2012 and efficiently oversees all aspects of the daily operations for the James Management Group portfolio consisting of over 1400 units. This entails assisting in organizing, developing and implementing operational procedures. 

Previously, Karen worked with a privately-owned company and develop, providing new construction lease ups, and managing and marketing for Section 42 rental housing to luxury apartments throughout the Indianapolis, Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan areas.

Karen holds her CAM designation and a LITHC certification.  She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Franklin College.

Nicci Tague has taken on various responsibilities at the James Management Group and contributes her success as Operations Director to her beginning her career as a Property Manager in 2010. She currently oversees the company’s four Lafayette sites totaling 570 units. She directs daily operations, helps staff stay within budgets, performs scheduling, and initiates solving problems in any situation. She has taken on the task of training for the company for AppFolio, holding classes, and making site visits. With her expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, she leads creating, updating, and maintaining spreadsheets for budgets, weekly reports, and any other forms needed. She has designed advertisements for marketing and ad publications. She has also taken photos of the apartment communities and the surrounding areas to assist in advertisements and website development.

Nicci has completed her CAM designation and applies new skills and knowledge to help assist other communities. She works closely with upper management, helping maintain smooth operations of the portfolio.
